Overview

Marriott has a rich history with its social enterprises working with government, councils, water utilities and the corporate sector dating back to 1989 with its first supported employment social enterprise leading to the birth of Garden Force now known as Environment Management Services.  This was followed shortly thereafter by the establishment of its Industries and factories which has continued to evolve to meet the changing market environments with a major focus on food production currently.

Focus on new market opportunities is seeing the introduction of diversification into new incubator social businesses and emerging social procurement opportunities requiring new commercial approaches which has been challenging our business modelling enabling us to thrive and grow.

With the introduction of the Victorian Social Procurement Framework, Marriott works in partnership with socially minded organisations to harness their purchasing power and create genuine social value which goes beyond the commercial value of the goods and services.  

Each of Marriott’s Social Enterprises are certified with Social Traders as well as holding relevant NDIS and OHS accreditations.

Mini Hippo Imports has proudly partnered with Marriott Support Services for the past five years. They take good care of our order receivables, pick and pack for wholesale and retail orders, as well as providing a repacking service.
