Who do we support?

• If you are aged 18 years or older
• Have an NDIS plan with employment funding
• Are looking for meaningful employment in Marriott’s Social Enterprises

We help people with a disability to develop new skills, gain experience and participate in training as part of their employment with us. You will be working as part of a team and be able to connect with experienced staff who understand your needs.

We support you to gain confidence. You will make friends and belong to a community and have fun. Our employees with a disability gain a sense of purpose, fulfilment and independence through their job.

Our supervisors and job coaches at the workplaces are trained in working with staff who have varying levels of skill and abilities. Marriott offers you so much more than just a job.

Do I need any qualifications or experience?

No, you do not need any experience or qualifications to join the Marriott.
Instead, our supervisors and trainers will provide you with training and support every step of the way.

Do I need training to get started?

Whether you need a forklift license, first aid training or a white card, our trainers and supervisors will provide you with support every step of the way.

What skills will I learn?

Once you are part of our Marriott team, we can help you to learn new skills to reach the goals in your NDIS plan. These skills can also help you find a job in open employment down the track.

This can include getting your:
• Driver’s license
• Forklift license
• Work Cover White Card
• First Aid certificate
• Safety training
