Who’s who at Melbourne Zoo!

By Jennifer Lumsden, June 17 2019

Despite the long trip to the zoo, we remained determined. After arriving at the zoo, we got a map and set off to discover who’s who at the zoo.

We saw the lions, tigers, wild dogs and giraffes. We stopped to watch the family of monkeys and saw the alpha male fighting over a baby monkey. We were surprised because they came so close to us and made funny noises. We learnt that giraffes are pregnant for 15 months!

We stopped for lunch next to the parrots, before going to the gift shop for a look around. Kim bought lovely gifts for her nieces and nephews. It was a great-day-out at the zoo.
