What we learnt at Marvel Stadium

By Jennifer Lumsden, June 17 2019

We went to Marvel Stadium for our last week outing. We planned our tour plan before we went there. We all are excited for the tour in Marvel stadium. We went to Southern Cross station, and then we walked to the stadium. We met John in the counter, he was our tour guide. We had first our morning tea in the stadium, and then we went for the tour. We all followed John for the tour.

He brought excitement into the tour when he was telling his personal experiences in the games that played over here. He had taken us to a different section of the stadium that included the commentator box, the tribunal room, the changing room and the VIP members lounge. It was very interesting to know about the stadium and the events that have been organised here. John was sometimes being funny and sharing some funny moments he experienced in this stadium. Wells was enjoying John as he is also a St. Kilda fan. We have clicked some photos at the stadium. John was impressed with our group and he offered a free hot chocolate drink to everyone.

What we learnt;
• how to be organised by using public transport;
• how to behave in public places and
• listening to each other, and sticking together.

We are happy with the stadium tour and looking to visit again over here for our favourite team games.
