Take Note – NDIA Response to COVID-19
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has implemented changes to support participants during COVID-19.
1. Participants can now access Support Coordination Services from their Core Supports.
This means that if you do not have support coordination in your plan, you can now access these services. Support Coordination helps you to implement your plan and coordinate your supports.
Given the current situation accessing your regular supports may be more difficult for you and so support coordination can assist you with other support where needed.

2. All NDIS Plans will be extended automatically for 24 months upon expiring.
This means that you need not worry about not having funding if your Plan Review Meeting is delayed due to the current situation.
3. Cancellation policy.
You NOW need to give 10 days’ notice instead of 2 days, of an absence; otherwise, you will be charged 100% of the cost of your supports for that day. Support Coordination is included in the cancellation policy.

We are open for business, adjusting our service in align with current directives. As of Monday 30th March, Community Hub and Roads to Independence are closed, our Support coordination team can assist you to arrange alternative supports.
