Roads to Independence – a day in the city..

By Jennifer Lumsden, February 4 2020

Last Tuesday we went into the city. We went a different way because the Frankston train line was closed, so we went to Middle Brighton station on the bus then caught the Sandringham train into Flinders Street.

Once there, we walked to Hosier Lane to look at the street art. There were massive paintings of the bushfires. We walked through the city and looked at all the different street art.

When it was lunchtime we went back to Federation Square and watched a game of tennis at the Australia Open on the big screen.

It was a good day.
