Out and about, Albert park picnic

By Jennifer Lumsden, December 6 2018

Recently, we went to Albert Park for a picnic. First, we went to Woolworths to purchase roast chicken, bread rolls and salad. We caught the train to Malvern, then jumped on the 64 tram to St. Kilda Road and walked to Albert Park.

We walked around the lake and counted the birds, Alex loves the swans.

We all pitched in and made our rolls, then ate them on the picnic blanket. Lunch was delicious we decided to go to St. Kilda and for a gelato or soft drink.

We walked up Acland Street and looked at all the different cakes. We got the No. 16 tram to Balaclava then the No. 3 tram to Caulfield and got the train back to Moorabbin. We had a great day at Albert Park.
