Marriott supports families and carers and the person with a disability to lead a life where they have the choice and control.
We have a qualified NDIS Engagement Team to advise you on the supports needed to suit you and your whole family. At Marriott, we have learned that our participants show us in different ways what works for them and what they need, and that’s why we are here to work with you.
As of December 2018, we have supported over 120 individuals and family/carers to prepare for their NDIS plans.
With the increasing day to day demands, carers require more than just day service support between the hours of 9-3pm.
NDIS funding can support individual needs and interests, for example, extended hours for individuals to share a meal, go to a movie or attend sporting events on the weekend.
If you are a carer who is employed and your loved one attends Marriott Community Hub, NDISfunding can provide a support worker for between 3pm-6pm to extend your capacity to work.
The NDIS can also shift some of the caring you do to funded supports, freeing up your time and enabling you to do other essential tasks.
There is no doubt that for most people, the NDIS can be quite overwhelming. That’s why we have an NDIS Engagement Team on hand to work with you individually because we want the best outcomes for you and your loved ones.
We are small enough to get to know your loved one but are big enough to have staff and systems in place to form partnerships that expand opportunities.
