Our Community Hub is a focal point of services and facilities, providing a range of disability supports, and acting as a launching pad to foster engagement with the local community.

Marriott is proud of the wide range of facilities, supports, training and disability services available at our Community Hub, as well as our partners within the Bayside community.

Our Staff and Facilities

Our staff are highly engaged and experienced. They focus on individual strengths and match those strengths with supports to build skills and independence. You can choose individual supports or be part of a small group; Marriott Community Hub also includes participants who are supported to volunteer in the community.

Our community partnerships with Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre, Mentone Lifesaving Club, Mordialloc Neighbourhood House and Fairway Aged Care facility offer even more opportunities.

The Marriott Community Hub is walking distance to the McKinnon shopping strip and easily accessible by train or bus. We offer flexible supports with varying hours of operation, to meet the needs of everyone in our community.

We are NDIS registered.

The supports we offer include

  • Travel training is great for independence and social inclusion. You want to be supported as an individual, that’s how we work.
  • Cooking groups are on every day and include planning a meal with nutrition, shopping, budgeting and cooking and baking.
  • Drama and music – explore the world through your creativity
  • Grow food in our kitchen garden.
  • Art programs to release your inner Van Gogh
  • Get healthy in our gym with group and personal training, Zumba and belly dancing or try swimming and basketball at Glen Eira Sport and Aquatic Centre.
  • You want support to manage behaviours of concern, our trained staff get great results and can support you at home too.
  • Volunteering – we support you to volunteer in the community.
