Flexibility, choice and control – 3 new supports outside 9am-3pm

By Jennifer Lumsden, October 4 2018

More choice and control with new out-of-hours supports

We know you are looking for more control, choice and flexibility in supports outside of 9am-3pm and with the NDIS we are excited to offer three new supports at our Community Hub.

Join us for  breakfast and some gentle exercise between 7.30-9.00 am Monday to Friday. A light breakfast of cereal and toast will be available from 7.30am-8.15am. An activity fee of $10 per session applies and associated staffing (support) costs will be either from your NDIS plan or Fee for Service.

Are you looking for afternoon support?

Two of our more popular supports, gym and art are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 3pm-5pm.

Why not burn up energy at the end of the day with a gym session and enjoy using our new gym equipment. You will enjoy a one-hour workout supported by a personal trainer and disability educator, followed by a discussion on healthy eating and learn how to make healthy snacks. An activity fee of $12.00 per session applies.

Do you feel creative later in the day? Then join us in our hugely popular art room where you will work on one project over a four-week block. The activity fee per 4 week block is $40.00.

All sessions commence the week starting Monday 15th October 2018.

These activities have staffing (support) costs which will be either from your NDIS plan or a Fee for Service.

If you are on your NDIS plan, support worker costs may be included in your plan, so check your funding before your booking is finalised. If you do not have an NDIS plan then staffing is Fee for Service. You will still need to pay an activity fee as indicated above.
