An Australian of the Year nominee comes to Marriott.

By Jennifer Lumsden, November 1 2018

Here’s an opportunity to meet an Australian of the Year nominee. Where?

At our AGM. On Monday 12th November 2018 at Kingston Town Hall, 6.30pm.

Chris Varney, who is Chief Enabling Officer for I CAN Network and is passionate about seeing an Australia that embraces autism, has been nominated for Australian of the Year, 2019.

He along with other people with autism founded the social enterprise that mentors students, teachers and businesses to be more autistic friendly.

In the past year alone I CAN Network has mentored 1,052 autistic kids, teenagers and adults across the country through schools, TAFEs, workplaces, camps and online. In its first 5 years I CAN Network has employed 34 people with autism.

Chris is a hugely engaging speaker with something to say and inspire for everyone. Join us for a great evening.

RSVP to Michelle on 9276 4300 or [email protected]

Watch Chris tell ‘How my unstoppable mother proved the experts wrong’.
