Transition to Employment

A transition to employment professional talking with students around a table.

Transition to Employment is a program for young adults with a disability, post school, to work towards employment. Located at our Keys Road site in Cheltenham alongside our Australian Disability Enterprises (ADE), allowing the Transition to Employment participants to understand a work environment and appreciate the rules and expectations that surround a workplace.

The program is designed to assist young people with an intellectual disability to plan ahead, set goals and make informed decisions about their future and the range of options they want to explore. Participants are offered the opportunity to trial supported employment through our extensive work experience program. Many use this opportunity to further their skills and as a pathway to open employment.

When the young person is ready, Marriott Employment Options is available to support them into open employment.
