Funding and Enrolment

If eligible, funding is available through Department of Human Services.

To access Marriott’s Adult Day Service program, individuals must be 18 years or over and eligible for funding under the State government Futures for Young Adults (FFYA), Individual Support Package (ISP) or Transition to Employment (TTE) schemes.

Future for Young Adults (FFYA) is a program funded by the Department of Human Services (DHS) which can provide focussed support for young adults with a disability if they need additional assistance to make the transition to post school options. The support is available for three years.

Individual Support Package (ISP) is funded by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and is used to help pay for the supports required to meet a person’s goals and needs within the community.

An ISP allows the person to have control of getting the supports they need, subject to funding guidelines and departmental approval of a funding plan. However, it should be noted that if the person chooses one-on-one support, they will have less support time than if they choose group activities, where the cost of the support is shared.

Transition to Employment (TTE) has been developed as part of the FFYA program to provide funding to support individuals who are not yet ready to move into employment or receive funding from a Commonwealth employment program.

In order to obtain funding – ISP, FFYA or TTE – you need to be on the Disability Service Register (DSR). For more information please call Department of Human Services (DHS) Intake and Response Team on 1300 131 079.
