Virtual reality and trains

Virtual reality trains

We caught the train to Flinders Street and ate our lunch at Federation Square.  After lunch we walked to Birrarung Marr to see the new Metro Train. The new trains have more space, seats and emergency buttons but our favourite thing was the virtual reality.

What a buzz, first we put on the goggles and then the train started.
We could see the train tracks and then it started to move.
We went through tunnels and the train got faster.
We heard the train blow its horn, which sounded to let people know the train was coming.
It really felt like being on a train.

The trains are no longer on display.
For Cranbourne – Pakenham line travellers you will be the first to use the new trains.
