Yesterday a Roundtable discussion was convened by Tim Wilson, Federal member for Goldstein, and the Hon Jane Prentice, Assistant Minister for Social Services and Disability Services to hear from local disability services, families and advocates about challenges with the NDIS. Marriott Support Services was represented by our Board Chair, Virginia Rogers, together with Dan, Janine and Sarah.

This week Metro Trains have secured a further 7 year contract with new conditions and penalties.
The new conditions will include spot audits, quarterly “mystery shoppers” surveys to assess passenger experience and a host of new or increased penalties.
Victorian Public Transport Minister Jacinta Allan said the deal was created with passengers in mind.

Marriott Support Services was established in the 1970’s. Providing opportunities and choices for the whole of adult life for adults with disability, we promote inclusion in the community. Our belief is that people with disability should be able to focus on their ability rather than a disability.
